White-label website scanner for agencies

Agencies that sell to local businesses need a reason to start the conversation. A generic audit says a site is slow or missing tags, but it does not answer the question a business owner actually asks: how do I compare with the companies I lose jobs to? A scanner that answers that, under the agency's own brand, is a lot of software for an agency to build and run itself.

The agency adds its logo, colors, and call to action, then puts the scanner on its site with one line of code or shares a hosted link. A business owner enters their website, trade, city, and email. While the scan runs it looks up Google's list for that trade and city, takes up to six of the first businesses with a website, and grades the site against them. The owner gets a report page under the agency's brand. The agency gets the lead in its dashboard, its inbox, and its CRM.

I designed it, built it, and run it. The scanner and reports run on Cloudflare Workers, with D1, KV, and R2 behind them, and the marketing site is a static Astro build. A lead stays in the dashboard even when a CRM delivery fails, and failed deliveries are retried on a schedule and can be replayed. CRM deliveries are signed with HMAC-SHA256 so the receiving system can verify where they came from.
